What is involved in preparing for a Civil Ceremony?
The first step is to approach the Registrar of Civil Marriages, for the district in which you intend to marry for information on how to proceed. Each couple must apply directly to the Civil Registration Office, the Hotel cannot do this on your behalf. In Westmeath the contact details for the Civil Registration Office are as follows:
